During our recent family getaway in Atri, we chose the Hotel du Parc. As a tea plantation owner from Galle, I appreciate comfortable stays that allow my family to unwind. The hotel offers clean accommodations at reasonable prices, which was beneficial for our budget. Though we found the decor a bit dated, it didn’t hinder our experience. With my 2-year-old, family-friendly amenities were vital. We enjoyed the spacious garden, where my daughter delighted in exploring while my husband and I relaxed. Plus, the shared kitchen made our morning tea easy to manage. While the hotel claims to have free parking, it’s just street parking, which is something to keep in mind. We ventured into the town’s Medieval attractions, which was a highlight for my history-loving son, making the location worthwhile for our brief stay. Hotel du Parc suits families looking for a simple place to rest their heads while exploring the charming town of Atri. It's not the most luxurious, but for our two nights, it served its purpose well—enough for us to enjoy our little adventure before returning to Sri Lanka's lush landscapes.
